Roadmap
What is built, what is next, and what is further out. Nothing here has a date. Features ship when they pass validation on real watches, and progress you have earned is never taken back.
Now: the launch build
- Daily eggs, hatching, care, levels and moods on six current watches, plus the Edge Display.
- The Free Coach: Run, Walk, Stroller Run, Road Bike and Pool Swim, with Treadmill, Walk Indoor, Bike Indoor and Open Water.
- Stroller Run with a calibrated personal pace estimate from your own solo and stroller runs. Input weights never change what you earn.
- Watch-to-watch battles and two-sided trades over ANT.
- Plus wave 1: seven expansion creatures, with activity-flavored eggs.
- Grit: per-creature transformations earned from measured heart rate (below).
- A recording that survives the app being closed or the watch rebooting, and comes back where you left it.
Grit transformations Now
Grit belongs to the creature that trained. A creature's meter unlocks the first time it finishes a qualifying achievement with you, and from then on every minute of training with recorded heart rate counts. One Grit point is one confirmed active minute covered by heart rate. Missing samples, pauses and idle time earn nothing, and motorized sports are excluded. Grit is a battle modifier, never a change to the creature's stored stats, so a mixed pair of watches still agrees on the fight.

| Form | Reached by | Training to the next form |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Surge | A Mid achievement awakens the meter | 1,200 Grit, about 20 qualified hours |
| Azure Surge | 1,200 Grit | 2,400 Grit, about 40 hours |
| Crimson Surge | 3,600 Grit | 9,600 Grit, about 160 hours |
| Spirit | 13,200 Grit | Creature level 100 |
| Zen | Spirit and level 100 | Fully unlocked, permanent |
Achievement tiers set a floor and pay a bonus: Mid (half marathon, 50-mile ride, relay, a long swim, hike or row) +120 Grit; High (marathon, 45 km ultra, 100-mile ride, half triathlon, ultra relay) +600; Elite (50-mile ultra, 200-mile ride) +1,200; Mega (full triathlon, an Everest of climbing, 100-mile ultra) +2,400. Each unlocked form stays equippable on that creature, including Off. The cute face stays through every form.
Next: creature waves 2 and 3 Coming
Fourteen more species, released in two Arena updates included with Plus. Each wave covers all five elements and is added permanently to the pool for new eggs. Eggs you already hold keep the pool they came with.

White SharkNext: Coach activity waves Plus
Activities and creatures advance on separate tracks. A new activity does not have to wait for a creature, and the other way round. The Coach catalog already knows 101 sports; they open in waves.
| Wave | Activities |
|---|---|
| 1 · Free, now | Run, Walk, Stroller Run, Road Bike, Pool Swim, Open Water, Treadmill, Walk Indoor, Bike Indoor |
| 2 | Trail Run, Hike, Mountain Bike, Gravel, Cyclocross, eBike, eMTB, Bike Commute, Bike Tour, BMX |
| 3 | Row and Row Indoor |
| 4 | Triathlon and relays, strength and cardio, water sports, snow sports, climbing and the rest of the catalog |
Guided structured workouts, Garmin course following, relay recording and the indoor trainer hub are built and gated separately. A watch is only offered a target it can actually measure.
Seasons Coming
Zombie eggs appear from 18 to 31 October: a seasonal look with a small battle penalty and its own egg. Halloween and Christmas faces are planned as seasonal Plus content. Seasonal palettes (frost, blossom, gold, ember) already exist for every species.
Further out
- Phone companion for Android and iOS: the Vault for creatures beyond the watch roster, the training journal, workout delivery to the watch, and backups. Optional, always.
- Wear OS: a development build exists with the same game rules, health-services recordings, a watch face, complications and a tile. Nearby battles and trades on Wear are not built.
- Box rooms: themed rooms for your collection, a weight room and trophies.
- Combo species and more cosmetics, on the same rule as everything else: approved art first, then code.
